Whistling while you drive
By Not a fan | on Saturday, June 13, 2020
Purchased Limited at the end of March. Right away I noticed a whistling sound while driving on the freeway from front passenger door frame area. I thought maybe the AC vent was closed and didn't think much of it. Due to pandemic, I didn't go anywhere that required driving on the freeway to investigate more. Fast forward a few weeks later, I noticed the whistling sound again at 45mph and the faster I drove the louder it got. Took it to a local Toyota dealership and they did not know how to fix it. (It is not the weather strip) Took it to the dealership where I purchased the car, and they held onto the car for 5 days to try to fix the issue. There were partially able to fix the issue. Now the whistling starts at 70mph. Took it back and since they were not able to recreate the noise at 65mph or less, there is nothing they could do. I like the car don't get me wrong, but that whistling noise is a deal breaker. It is a very nice car and I enjoy the redesign and the amenities but buyer beware! The test drive I didn't go over 35 mph so I didn't hear the sound, but if you plan on getting this vehicle, listen for the whistling sound, because they do not have a fix fo this. Truly disappointed for a great car.… - 5.0
Looker with reliability

I have purchased 2020 highlander limited a month ago. I have waited almost 5 years to find the right one for me. This highlander limited has a mean aggressive look and LED head lights. Better looks than previous models. 2nd row has better leg room and very comfortable. Seats recline and nice. 1200 watts stereo is clear and awesome. Sounds better than my s class. Safety features already saved me from hitting backing up. I wanted to get 4runner but outdated and obsolete. Too bad.... I really like this one. So cal gets hot, this car has ventilated seats and heated seats. Believe me you ll like it. Only con is small fuel tank only goes 300miles. Old 4runner of mine traveled 360 miles.… - 5.0
Beware Don't be fooled

I purchased a 2020 Toyota Highlander Platinum. Love the vehicle so far. Rides great and has lots of safety equipment. One major problem that Toyota does not want you to know. The Platinum and Limited will not accept a tow hitch from factory or after market. Seems that they installed some sensors for the foot control of the lift gate in the area where the hitch would be installed. I contacted Toyota to see what could be changed to allow the hitch to be installed. They said they were sorry nothing can be done . You have to purchase an XLE model if you want a hitch. I cannot believe that they won't make some engr. change to enable a hitch installation.…
